Research Groups

The architectural, engineering, and construction industry has the potential of becoming one of the most efficient industries in history. However, the current state of the industry is crippled by waste, inefficiencies, lack of trust, and unsustainable practices. To tackle this, I have been spearheading research that aims at developing interventions and investigating the role that technology and soft-skills have in improving the planning and delivery of construction projects. Furthermore, my research focuses on promoting innovative pedagogical methods to prepare students for real-world scenarios. These interventions support the creation of a new generation of construction and project managers.

At Cal State East Bay I had formed three research groups that support me and the university in achieving innovative and high-impact research.
